The Sherpas of Everest Series: Nawang Thile Sherpa

Nawang Thile Sherpa (aka Pemba Dorje Sherpa) summited Everest via the standard south east ridge route on October 5th, 1990 on the French expedition led by Marc Batard. Next on April 22nd, 1993 with the Nepalese Women led by Pasang Lhamu Sherpa via the standard south east ridge route. On May 17, 2000 he summited for a third time via the standard North east ridge route with the Swiss Expedition led Karl Kobler. And again with Karl on May 16th, 2002.

He also summited Makalu 10/11/1985 and 8 summits of Cho Oyu.
