Lhakpa Sona Sherpa comes from Khumjung, Solukhumbu. He summited Everest on May 5th, 1988 via the standard north east ridge route while on the China-Japan-Nepal Friendship Expedition. Lhakpa Sona Sherpa summited Manaslu 10/7/1998.
