The Sherpas of Everest Series: Gyalzen Sherpa

Gyalzen Sherpa summited Everest via the standard south east ridge route twice. First on May 12th, 1992 and again on May 20th, 1998 when he was 45 years old. Sadly, he fell ill in 2000 and died. He was from Namche, Solukhumbu.
