The Sherpas of Everest Series: Dawa Nuru Sherpa

Dawa Nuru Sherpa came from Namche, Thame, Solukhumbu. He summited Everest on April 21st, 1985 via the standard south east ridge route while on the Norwegian Everest Expedition led by Arne Naess. Sadly he died on October 17th, 1986 in an avalanche while descending the North Col. He was on the American Everest Expedition led by Andrew Harvard.
