The Sherpas of Everest Series: Ang Lhakpa Dorje Sherpa

Ang Lhakpa Dorje Sherpa came from Khumjung, Solukhumbu. He summited Everest on April 21st, 1985 via the standard south east ridge route while on the Norwegian Everest Expedition led by Arne Naess.  Sadly he died on December 23, 1988 Belgium Expedition from illness at the South Col.
