Ajiwa Sherpa 1953-1989

Ajiwa Sherpa summited Everest 2 times. First on the September 26th, 1988 via the standard South East Ridge route while on the French expedition led by Francois Poissonnier and again on May 10th, 1989. However, that autumn he died on Dhaulagiri (September, 25, 1989) in an avalanche.
