Jean Troillet, is one of the greatest climbers to ever walk on the face of the earth. Like many others so great, one short page will not due him justice. But here is some highlights of his career in the mountains...

Jean was born March 10, 1948 in Switzerland. He has dual nationality Swiss and Canadian. He has reached the summit of 8 of the 14 800 meter peaks. He summited K2, Dhaulagiri, Everest, Cho Oyu, Shishapangma central, Makalu, Kangchenjunga and Lhotse.  He snowboarded Everest from 8400 meters in 96 from the North....

Everest 1986 in 31 hours with Erhard Loretan.

In addition he has summited many of the most difficult climb in Europe.
