Vladimir Bachkirov  summited Everest May 16, 1993 via the standard South East Ridge route and again on April 26, 1997. Vladimir was born January 28, 1952 and died April 27th, 1997 descending from the Summit of Lhotse. In addition, he reached the summit of Dhaulagiri on May 14th, 1995; Annapurna on October 26th, 1991; Makalu on May 23rd, 1996; Cho Oyu on September 23rd, 1996; Shishapangma on October 10th, 1996; and Lhotse on May 26th, 1997.
