The Sherpas of Everest Series: Mingma Sherpa

Mingma Sherpa came from Khumjung, Solukhumbu. His date of birth is not known to us. He summited Everest on October 16th, 1978 via the standard south east ridge route without the use of bottled oxygen! Along with Ang Dorje Sherpa they were the 4th and 5th men to summit Everest without the use of bottled oxygen.
