The Sherpas of Everest Series: Lhakpa Gyaljen Sherpa

Lhakpa Gyaljen is from Pangboche, Solukhumbu. He summited with the German expedition on Oct 1st, 1979 via the South East Ridge route. He summited Dhaulagiri in 1980 n the Swiss expedition led by Hans von Kaenel.

He was hurt on an Everest expedition in 1999 and is now partially paralyzed ....
