Lhakpa Dorje Sherpa Summited Everest on May 14, 1983 via the standard South East Ridge route on the expedition led by Gerhard Lenser. Lhakpa Dorje Sherpa comes from Khumjung, Solukhumbu. He was born in 1956. He is currently a mountain guide and lodge owner.
