3.) South East Ridge means the via the standard south Col, south east ridge route used today for most summits of Everest from the Nepal side of the mountain.

4.) North East Ridge means the via the standard North Col, north east ridge route used today for most summits of Everest from the Tibet side of the mountain.

5.) The Chinese, like many other non-English speaking countries, do not have an accepted translation. The Chinese press and climbers, also do no agree... Stay tuned.
